Needs:
- I will need a table on stage. An average six-foot folding table is fine.
- Please place a tablecloth on the table, hanging to the floor in front and open to the back for me to store some props I use in my program.
- It works best if the tablecloth is taped along the top to secure it.
- I need a music stand for my notes.
- I prefer a lapel mic for talking and a cordless microphone for the last song.
- I need a sound system capable of playing CDs.
- I need a sound technician or volunteer- I will provide a list of songs and you may give them my phone number if there are any questions before the event. A monitor is VERY helpful. (303-948-6443).
- I need a table near the exit or foyer to place my product for sale.
- I will need a volunteer for the product table. (Instructions provided).
Help, I'm Out of Control...And God Wants Me That Way
Suggestions:
- The more you decorate the stage, the more fun the atmosphere.
- Many groups string a clothesline behind me with laundry.
Little boy underwear, colorful boxers, baby clothes, funny long underwear, nighties, tie-dyed t-shirts, clothes the color of whatever holiday is near, ie.. Red and pink clothes for Valentine’s Day, Green clothes for St. Patrick’s Day, Santa’s underwear…etc

- Make the stage look cluttered and a mess with tipped over laundry baskets, ironing boards, mops and buckets, toys strewn about, grocery bags, etc… (include the steps up to the stage).
- If you need table decoration ideas, many groups use buckets with cleaning products that they give as door prizes at the end. One group bought colorful feather dusters for each lady and decorated the tables with them. A cute idea was to use short feather dusters in clay pots as flowers. One group had laundry-mat sized boxes of detergent with a scripture verse attached about being clean before the Lord. One group had a local printer donate “to do list” pads for each woman. Use your imagination and have fun.
